Terms of Service

Last updated: February 25, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using Done ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Do More Systems ("we", "us", "our") regarding your use of Done.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Done for personal or commercial purposes.

2.1 Annual License

An annual license provides access to all updates released during the 12-month license period. Upon expiration, the Software will continue to function, but you will not receive further updates unless you renew.

2.2 Perpetual License

A perpetual license provides lifetime access to the major version purchased (e.g., version 1.x.x). You will receive all minor and patch updates within that major version indefinitely. Future major versions (e.g., 2.0.0) are not included and require a separate purchase.

2.3 Device Activation

Each license key may be activated on one device at a time. You may deactivate your license from one device to activate it on another device.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Share, sell, lease, or transfer your license key to others
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the Software in any way that violates applicable laws
  • Activate a single license on multiple devices simultaneously

4. Data and Privacy

Done is a local-first application. Your task data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your tasks or personal information stored within the Software.

License validation requires your email address and a unique device identifier to be sent to our servers to verify your license key. This information is used solely for license management and is not shared with third parties.

5. Payment and Refunds

All purchases are processed through Paddle. By purchasing a license, you agree to Paddle's terms and conditions.

We offer a 15-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. See our Refund Policy for details.

Annual licenses automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Paddle account.

6. Updates and Support

We may release updates, bug fixes, and new features at our discretion. Updates may be provided automatically or require manual installation.

Email support is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee response times or resolution of specific issues.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SOFTWARE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
